About SafeFinanceHub

We're an independent editorial team that reviews the platforms managing your money: brokers, crypto exchanges, robo-advisors and banking apps. We tell you exactly what we found.

Who we are

SafeFinanceHub is a small, independent finance publication focused on consumer financial products and a paid toolkit for crypto and stock investors. We are not part of a publisher group and we are not VC-backed. We publish editorial reviews based on our own testing, alongside clearly labelled sponsored content from partners. Our reviews and tools are written by contributors with backgrounds in retail trading, fintech and tax, and every page goes through the same internal checklist before it is published.

How we make money

When you click a link to a financial product on this site and open an account, the provider may pay us a referral commission. This is the same model used by every major financial publication, including NerdWallet, Forbes Advisor and Investopedia.

What it does not buy: a higher score, a different ranking, the removal of negative coverage, or any input into our editorial process. Our editorial team is structurally separated from commercial relationships and has the final word on every page.

How we review

Every platform we cover goes through the same checklist:

  1. Fees, against the source of truth. Published fee schedules are taken from the provider's own fee page, then cross-checked against the regulator filing where available. Where we have first-hand experience with the platform, we note any gap between the published fee and the real charge.
  2. Platform testing. Desktop, mobile and web apps are evaluated on speed, reliability, asset coverage and feature set, based on direct hands-on use where possible and on the provider's own product documentation otherwise.
  3. Regulatory check. Every regulator claim is verified against the official register (FCA, SEC, FINRA, FinCEN, CySEC, BaFin, etc.) and we link the entry from the review.
  4. Customer support sampling. Where practical we contact support anonymously and note the response time and quality.
  5. Withdrawal and account-closure path. We document how funds and account data come back out - one of the most under-covered parts of any review.

Reviews carry a "last updated" date and are re-checked whenever a provider changes pricing, ownership or regulatory status, and at least once a year regardless.

Editorial standards

We follow the principles outlined by Google's "Your Money or Your Life" guidance: only publish what we'd be comfortable telling a family member, cite primary sources, and disclose every commercial relationship. If we ever get something wrong, please tell us at [email protected] - we publish corrections openly and date them.
